Reasons to your seo ranking fall down

Reasons to your seo ranking fall down

Iactivity

If you're only updating your blog once every other week, you're unlikely to rank very high in Google, which generally offers higher search rankings to new content. Having new content gives you more opportunities to connect with readers and fellow bloggers as well; every time you update your blog, you also have a chance to update your Twitter stream, Facebook page and any other profile linked to your blog or blogging persona. Also, the more quality content on your blog, the more ways people have to find your blog via search engine.

Changes to Google

Google occasionally makes changes to how they index and rank websites and blogs; when these changes are made, some blogs often suffer a loss in page views. Darren Rowse of ProBlogger discusses a change to Google's algorithm in 2004 that cut his traffic by 2/3. His advice is to wait, give Google time to re-index websites, and take the time to make minor tweaks to the SEO, design and philosophy of your blog. He also recommends against making major changes in a panic; major and frequent changes may hurt your blog in the long run.

Changed URL

If you're recently changed your URL or your blog name, you may notice your hits have dropped, especially if the change in your website results in broken links all over the Internet. This can be less of an issue if you were previously using the free username.blogspot.com URL, as Blogger automatically redirects users and URLs to your custom domain. Changing between custom domains can be a bit more problematic. Changing your URL can break RSS feed links, losing you subscribers who may not even realize the RSS feed is broken.

Blacklisting

Your websites can be blocked from Google search results if you're found guilty of "bad" SEO practices. This includes stuffing your content so full of keywords and phrases that it's not comprehensible, using HTML or CSS to hide keywords on your webpage, stealing content from other websites and creating multiple blogs with the same content using different keywords. If your page is blacklisted from Google, there's really not much you can do to raise your rankings again, other than starting fresh.

Recovery: Increasing Traffic

First, continue updating your blog, even though the traffic is falling. However, try new things. Don't be afraid to diversify the topic of your blog; discuss topics that you find interesting in ways that are relevant to your readership. Test some new SEO methods, and don't be afraid to network with other bloggers in your topic. Twitter, Facebook and even link exchanges can all generate new traffic to your blog. Consider updating your blog to something a bit more modern and SEO-friendly. If your budget allows you, you might even consider buying ad space on another website.

Way to smart blogger

Tip #1: Always be laser-focused

There’s no point to start a blog when you are not fully focused. I know some people do well while maintaining multiple blogs, but for most people – It’s just too much.
When I first started out, I quickly set up a blog, added some content and started to wait for visitors. However, they never came. I wasn’t putting enough effort in building relationships and generating traffic. I just thought: “What if I start another blog… in another niche”.
I quickly abandoned my first blog (what a shame!) and moved on. And then I moved on again. And again. Why? Well, all those blogs weren’t generating traffic and it wasn’t satisfying me.  I thought that my next blog will do better…
Lesson learned #1: Never quit until you haven’t tried absolutely everything to improve your blog. Traffic doesn’t come overnight, nor the success. You need to put all your effort into content, design and traffic strategies. When you are not doing it, you will fail – no matter what.

Tip #2: Content and design before traffic

The most important thing on your blog is your CONTENT. Have you heard the saying “Content is King”? Well, I didn’t believe it until I tried it. There isn’t going to be enough traffic (never ever!) unless you have the best possible content on your blog.
This will also increase the chances that people who find your blog will stay on your blog longer, they will maybe even like and share a comment and sign up to your newsletter.
Isn’t that a WIN-WIN situation? But in the meantime, don’t forget the design. When someone first lands on your website /blog? Content?  Nope. Design? Yep.
Unfortunately I didn’t blog smarter and put much effort in content when I first started out. I was more into placing affiliate links, banners, and other irrelevant stuff that didn’t have any point or value for the visitors.
Lesson learned #2:  Don’t start generating traffic unless you have solid design and even better content.

Tip #3: Set yourself measurable GOALS

Whenever you have installed WordPress or any other blogging software on your newly purchased domain, it’s time to set yourself a reasonable GOAL. I usually ask myself those 3 simple questions:
A)     How much traffic I want to get prior to 6 months?
B)     Am I aiming for money or not?
C)     How much money do I want to make prior to 6 months
The thing is, when you don’t set some goals, you’ll fail. At first you will be doing well, you are all motivated and stuff, but eventually you’ll start to lose interest. Why? You don’t have goals. You are absolutely clueless what do you want to accomplish with your blog.
Lesson learned #3: Set realistic goals, and you’ll do better.

Tip #4: Collect emails

I remember well… After being a blogger for 2 years, a friend told (who is also a blogger) told me this: “Hey Mike. I just checked your blog, it looks good, lots of great content etc… But WHY ON EARTH are you not building a list or collecting emails of your visitors?”
I didn’t know what or how to respond. I guess I just didn’t have the time to set everything up and spend hours on answering emails. Eventually I did it, though… And it was one of my best decisions, ever. I’ve a huge list of bloggers who have become my friends and even business partners.
Lesson learned #4: When you have enough traffic on your blog, you MUST start collect emails. It’s a no-brainer. And yes, it’s pretty easy to set up an opt-in box and autoresponder.
Blogging Online

Tip #5: Look for small details where you could outperform other bloggers

If you’re aiming high, you should always look for ways to differentiate and stand out from others. There are just too many people copying each other form day to day.
So, here’s what I did: I’m tired of receiving emails from addresses like Info@website.com or support@website.com. If blogs are created by people, I want to get in touch with them, not their automatic replies. I decided to answer to each and every email I get and send out from my personal account.
Secondly, I always thank people who have in any way had a positive impact on my blog. If I receive an email saying “Hi Mike, thanks for your tutorial”, I always respond back. No matter what, it’s important to get back in touch as a person, not like a robot. It takes me 2 hours per day to catch up with emails but it’s worth every second.
Lesson learned #5: Try to stand out from the others and always be personal and kind.  Over time you’ll notice the difference.

Huge Traffic tips To your website

Every website owner should be looking to increase their fan base and their traffic. From newbies to experts, the more traffic you have, the more credible your site. And with Infolinks on your site, the more traffic you have, the higher your earnings should be. Here Infolinks brings you the best methods to increase your traffic, in turn helping to increase your revenue. Who’s ready to get started?
If you follow even some of these tips you’re bound to see an increase in your traffic. Every little bit helps. And like we said, the more traffic you have, the more your ads are being seen. Let’s get started.

Social media is your friend

We all know that sharing on social media is crucial. But you can do more: use hash tags, searches and those you follow to find interesting conversations, content and an excuse to jump right in.

Website Design

Your website should be user friendly, easy to navigate and clear to all. A visitor shouldn’t have to try hard to get from one post to another or do a quick search to find what they’re looking for.

Work on your SEO

Don’t be afraid of SEO, instead use it to your advantage. Keep up with keyword research, use backlinks and make sure, as always, that your content is original. Find even more SEO tips here.

Consistent posts are best

Your readers want to come to your site to see and learn new things. Not posting something new in a while can create the image that you don’t have good upkeep for your site and that you’re not serious.

Build an email list

As soon as possible begin gathering emails from your readers. This way you can communicate with them via newsletter, promotions and more. This will give a gentle reminder to those readers who haven’t visited in a while.

Be a guest blogger

Guest blogging is huge in terms of sending traffic to your site. The post you write will reach a whole new crowd on someone else’s site and with the help of a nicely written biography, they’ll likely check your site out as well.

Use analytics

Get to know the traffic you already have to help you build future traffic. Google Analytics is a free and simple tool you can and should use to understand which sources help bring more traffic, and from where.

Reference your own posts

Your new traffic may have come across a post and not be aware of the rest of your website. Take the opportunity to link to other posts from your site where the shoe fits, allowing for more views of your work.

HOW MUCH EARN FROM YOUR WEBSITE/BLOG

Pricing your available advertising space is not an easy task since there is no standard pricing structure that can fit all websites. Each website, each blog, each content provider that uses advertising as their primary, or one of the sources of revenue, are different. Advertising on a fly-fishing site is different from advertising on a music-downloading site. These are some of the aspects you should consider when determining the ad rates:
A website is measured by the quality of its contents, traffic and visitors.
1. Contents
The contents of your website is the core of all activities. It attracts both visitors and potential advertisers. The definition of content differs from one website to another and from one industry/category to another. It could be articles, songs, games, forum posts, photos, etc. It is your primary product so be sure to dedicate your effort and attention to continuously improve and expand it. The objective is to generate more contents with high quality, relevance, usefulness to attract more visitors and advertisers.
2. Traffic
First, the more visitors you have, the more attractive your website is to a potential advertiser. Second, the higher traffic you have, the more money you will earn from your advertisers. The most basic traffic information you must know is the total number of monthly page-views and visitors. One ad view is counted as one impression. If a page contains 4 ads, there will be 4 ad impressions per page-view. You need to understand that web traffic is not equal in quality. Some is more desirable than other. For a local advertiser, visitors from a foreign country maybe irrelevant. Moreover, many locations and countries are known to generate fraudulent and inflated clicks so advertisers will want to target their ads to certain areas only.
3. Audience
How much do you know about your visitors (age, sex, locations, interests)? If you have a large audience base with similar interests, you will have a better chance to find advertisers with relevant products and higher ad rates. When advertisers know exactly whom they are promoting their services and products to, they are more likely to commit to a higher ad rate, a longer display time or a larger advertising contract.

Pricing Models

These are some of the most popular ways to charge for your advertising space:
1. CPA (Cost Per Action, Cost Per Acquisition, Cost Per Lead, Cost Per Purchase)
The advertiser is charged every time a visitor makes a transaction or purchases a product. These conversions are reported to the advertiser. Publishers can either set a price for each conversion or let the advertisers choose their price. Advertisers like this model since it offers the highest quality and return on investment. Advertisers often control the pricing with this model. For example, a lead to book a cruise can be worth $50 or more. It means the advertiser will pay you $50 when a visitor successfully calls/asks about a cruise when looking/clicking on their cruise ad from your website.
2. CPC (Cost per Click)
The advertiser is charged for each click on their ads. Clicks are priced from as low as $0.01 to more than $10 per click. Either publisher or advertiser can set the price. However, one of the concerns for advertisers with this model is click frauds. In this scheme, click counters are inflated artificially to drive up the advertising cost. Publishers should use an ad server with click-fraud prevention technology to offer protection for your advertisers.
3. CPM (Cost Per Mille, i.e. Cost Per Thousand Impressions)
The advertiser is charged per thousand impressions. It is one of the more popular model among medium-to-large publishers. Advertisers do not have to worry about inflated clicks as in the CPC model. At a $5 CPM, 10000 visitors a month with an average of 5 ad views each will earn $250. CPM is a very viable model when a publisher has more than 500,000 impressions per month. For smaller advertisers, number of available impressions can be low because of different targeting criteria, including frequency capping, geographical targeting to prevent exceeding advertising budget and yet maintain a high quality traffic. The downside with the CPM model is there is no consideration for clicks, conversions and ultimately purchases.
4. Flat Rate
The advertiser pays a fixed price to display an ad for a period of time. This is popular among smaller publishers and advertisers because it is the simplest model with very predictable earning/expense. Publishers present their website metrics (page views, audience reports, CTRs) to the advertisers and name their advertising rates. Advertisers consider the pros and cons and make a decision to purchase an ad space for a period of time, often one calendar month at a time. Rates depend on the expected traffic, ad placement location, ad dimension/size, and length of contract. Since the earning is known ahead of time, publishers can focus on other areas of their website. This model allows both publishers and advertisers to budget their costs and predict their profits.
5. Hybrid or Combination of Multiple Models
With advanced ad servers like AdSpeed Ad Server, you can combine multiple pricing models to work for both you and your advertisers. For instance, $1000 per month plus $1 per click is a combined model of Flat and CPC. It means the publisher will have some guaranteed income (Flat) while earning extras on the clicks (CPC). The advertiser can enjoy discounts on the flat rate while providing incentives for performance.

Advertisers

Understanding your advertisers is one of the key factors in winning their contracts. If you know their services, products, advertising objectives, requirements, needs and goals, you can make your offer that much stronger by emphasizing the quality of your audience to smaller advertisers, or highlighting the number of page views (i.e. reach) to brand builders.
1. Number of Advertisers
If you have a large network of advertisers or a good sales team that can approach many advertisers, you have more demand for your given ad inventory and you can charge more for advertising. Thus, it is always a good idea to build, maintain and expand your list of potential advertisers.
2. Product Characteristics
CPC and CPA rates for a diamond advertiser are likely much higher than ad rates for a toothpaste ad. Knowing the products/services can help target the right section of your website.

Research

After reading about different pricing methods, determine the best pricing model for your business. Find similar sites to your website and do a little research on their pricing. Put yourself in the shoes of a potential advertiser. The objective is to find a popular, relevant, high-quality website or blog at a reasonable ad rate.

Price Comparison

A really simple and effective formula for an advertiser to compare between one site to another website is: cost of the advertising space divided by the traffic that the ad will receive. The lower CPM rate the better. Let us consider these two blogs:
  • Blog #1: charges $500 monthly for a 125x125 banner spot above the fold. It generates 100,000 monthly page views.
  • Blog #2: charges $1,000 for a similar ad placement. It generates 500,000 monthly page views.
  • Using the formula cost of advertising/traffic, Blog #1 has a $5 CPM while Blog #2 has a $2 CPM.
  • Even though Blog #1 charges only half the price of Blog #2 upfront, it's actually less effective. Blog #2 is a better platform for advertising because of its high traffic and lower CPM rate.
Try to determine an appropriate rate for your own website. If you charge too much, advertisers will go elsewhere. If you charge too little, you are not maximizing your advertising potential.

Price Adjustments

After determining your expected rate, you can start to offer advertising to a few potential advertisers. Everything needs a starting point. You do not have to stick to a single pricing forever and you can always adjust your price over time. However, if your website is recently launched, try to offer promotions and discounts in order to build your advertiser network.
For example: You can start charging a low CPM for the first 3 - 6 months to let advertisers test-drive the effectiveness of their ads. Or you can charge a low CPM then gradually increases the rate as your traffic improves. You can provide incentives for early advertisers to lock in the low rates. However, communicate clearly to your advertisers on these price changes and your reasons. You want to build long term relationships with your advertisers.

Take the First Step

Determining the optimal advertising rate is a tricky business. This simple blog post offers you a head start on determining your rates. As you have more experience with advertising and the advertisers for your industry, you will find more factors that affect your rates and make appropriate adjustments. Good luck with your venture!

How to Register Your Own Domain Name

you have a web site, you should seriously consider registering your own domain name. A domain name is a name like "bestjobs2day.com" . which you can use to refer to your website. Note that you do not have to be a company or organisation ("organization" in US English) to register a domain name. Any individual can do it too.

Importance of a Domain Name
There are a number of good reasons for having a domain name:

If you ever change your web host, your domain name goes with you. Your regular visitors or customers who knew your site name as www.bestjobs2day.com (for example) would not have to be informed about a change of web address (also known as "URL"). They would simply type your domain name and they'd be brought to your new site.

If you are a business, a domain name gives you credibility. Few people will be willing to do business with a company that does not have its own domain name.

If you get a domain name that describes your company's business or name, people can remember the name easily and can return to your site without having to consult their documents. In fact, if you get a good name that describes your product or service, you might even get people who were trying their luck by typing "www.yourproductname.com" in their browser.

If you want good sponsors (advertisers) for your website, a domain name is usually helpful. It tends to give your website an aura of respectibility.

Registration Overview
Getting a domain name involves registering the name you want with an organisation called ICANN through a domain name registrar. For example, if you choose a name like "example.com", you will have to go to a registrar, pay a registration fee that costs around US$10 to US$40 for that name. That will give you the right to the name for a year, and you will have to renew it annually for (usually) the same amount per annum.

Some web hosts will register it and pay for the name for free (usually only the commercial web hosts), while others will do it for you but you'll have to foot the registrar fees.

My personal preference is to register the name directly with a domain name registrar rather than through my web host. I've heard stories, in the past, of less-than-reputable web hosts that registered the domain under their own name, making them the owner of the domain rather than you (although I don't know if such web hosts still exist today). Registering with a domain name registrar allows me to make sure that I am registered as the owner, the administrative and technical contacts. Being the owner is vital — if someone else places himself as the owner (such as your web host), he can always decide to charge you some exorbitant fee for the use of the name later, and there is little you can do. The various other contacts are less vital, but may still play important roles, depending on your registrar. For example, for some registrars, the administrative contact's approval is required before a domain name is transferred out of a web host (or at least, it used to be). If he/she cannot be contacted, the technical contact is used.

Domain names disappear extremely fast. Many people claim that all the good domain names are gone. I doubt that — but it is probably true that most good domain names that are descriptive of products and services have been taken. If you want a domain name for your site, I suggest you act now, or face the anguish of having lost that name later. After all, US$10 (more or less) for a year's ownership of the name is pretty cheap when you realise that you're cornering a good name for your website.

Step By Step Instructions

Think of a few good domain names that you'd like to use. It won't do to think of only one — it might already be taken (it probably is!).

There's more to it than meets the eye.

You will need either a credit card or a PayPal account to pay for the domain. This is a requirement of most if not all registrars. It will allow you to claim and get the domain name immediately on application. This is not an option (unfortunately).

If you already have a web host, obtain from them the names of their primary and secondary nameservers. Don't worry if you don't understand what these things mean. Just save the information somewhere. The information can usually be obtained from their FAQs or other documentation on their site, usually under a category like "domain name" or "DNS" or "domain name transfer" and the like. If you can't find it, email them. You'll need the information to point your domain name to your website after you buy your domain. Don't worry if you don't have a web host yet. Just read on.

If you do not have a web host, you can always allow the registrar to park your domain name at a temporary website specially set up for you. This way you can quickly secure your domain name before it's too late and still take your time to set up the other aspects of your site. As far as I can tell, most registrars (or probably all) automatically park your domain by default whether you ask them to or not, so if this is your situation, you probably don't have to do anything special to get it done. Some of those registrars also provide you with a free email address at your own domain name while it is parked at their site, like sales@example.com (where "example.com" is your domain).

List of Domain Name Registrars
There are numerous domain name registrars. Listed below are just a few, along with my comments, if I know anything about them. Note that the domain name industry is highly competitive, with prices wildly fluctuating throughout the year, every year, so it's impossible to really mention accurate prices below unless I spend all my time updating this page. Please check their sites for the latest rates. (Note: all prices are in US dollars.)

World's Largest Registrar - GoDaddy.com  — This extremely popular registrar (possibly the biggest today) offers .com domain names for $9.99 (plus 20 cents) per year ($6.99 plus 20 cents if you transfer from another registrar). They have a web interface to manage your domains, free web redirection (where people who visit your domain will get transferred to another web address of your choice), free starter web page, free parked page or free "for sale" page, and an optional private domain registration where your domain is registered in the name of a proxy company. They offer .com, .us, .biz, .info, .net, .org, .ws, .name, .tv, .co.uk, .me.uk and .org.uk, etc. Note that (as with all registrars) the exact price varies depending on which domain you are registering (for example some domain suffixes are more expensive than others). Both credit card and PayPal payments are accepted.

Namecheap  — This company provides .com domains for $10.69 (plus 18 cents) per year ($9.69 if you transfer from other registrars). Along with your domain, you get free email forwarding, free web redirection (where anyone going to your domain is automatically directed to another address of your choice), free domain name parking, etc. For the first year (or at least, at the time I checked their prices), you can also have their WhoisGuard (where your particulars are masked from public view) for free. They have a wide variety of domain name extensions available, including .net, .org, .biz, .info, .us, .co.uk, .co, .de, etc. You can use either a credit card or PayPal for your purchases.

1&1 Internet  — This is primarily a large web host that is also a domain name registrar. You are charged $6.99 for .com, .org, .net, .us domains. They also offer .info domains for $0.99 (first year only) and .biz at $8.99. The fee includes private domain registration, which means that your particulars are hidden from public view (done by registering the domain in the name of a proxy company). You also get a free email account, DNS management, domain forwarding and masking, and a starter website with each domain. Both credit card and PayPal payments are accepted by this registrar.

Dotster.com  — This fairly popular registrar provides fairly cheap domain prices ($15.75 plus 20 cents per domain), a convenient web interface to manage your domains, an optional privacy facility where your domain name is registered in the name of a proxy company, etc. They offer .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, .us, .ca, .tv, .name, .cc, .de, .sr, .md, .co.uk, .us.com domains, etc. If you're transferring a domain here from other registrars, the price is even cheaper ($6.99 plus 20 cents). Both credit card and PayPal payments are accepted here.

In addition, as mentioned earlier, a number of commercial web hosts will give you a free domain name if you are hosting with them, as will many (if not all) of the registrars above.

After You Register Your Domain Name
If you're not sure what to do after you register your domain name, please read the How to Make / Create Your Own Website: The Beginner's A-Z Guide.

Conclusion
Once you've decided, you should not procrastinate. I've lost more than one domain name by procrastinating (I lost the latest one by only one day). After all, at the price you're paying, it works out to be less than $1 a month for the majority of the registrars.

When you enter in the field of online business, the first things that you must have is “Website” that will represent your business. There are a lot of companies out there in market which provides web hosting and domain names at cheap prices. So how would you choose right domain and hosting provider for your business? Lets talk about choosing right domain name for your business.Domain name is crucial factor when it comes to your online presence and branding. Your domain name speaks what your business is all about. Here are tips for choosing your domain name:

Get Exact Match to Your Company Name:

A very first you should search for is exact match domain as your company name. This will help you to make your brand recognizable by others and will help you to reach your audience easily.
You can use domain name checker tool to see available domains and you can pick your domain accordingly. All you need to have is just a simple web Browser like Google Chrome.

Consider TLD’s according to your business type:

There are lot of TLD’s are being launched which clearly states type of your business. So you can choose your TLD according to your business type. For example .com domain would be perfect for commercial website whereas .info domains would be great for blogs.

Keep Name as Short as Possible

People generally remember short names, so try to keep your domain name as short as possible so anyone can easily remember your domain name. Also this makes I easy to type and easy to search to them. This will help you to get good SERP rankings for industrial keywords searches.

Fullfill Expectations of Your Clients:

When someone comes to know about your domain name, he should be able to interpret what your business is all about. That’s why I love domain names like Gmail.com, Facebook.com.

Avoid Hyphens and Numbers:

Try to avoid numbers and hyphens in your domain name, generally users don’t remember numbers or they might misunderstand hyphens. So keep your domain Hyphens and numbers free to attract more number of users.

You should be aware of copyrights infringements while choosing your domain. You can not use such copyrighted words in your domain name. This will lead to legal actions against your brand. You can visit copyright.gov to check such list of copyrighted terms and avoid such terms in your domain easily.

Moto G : Now With 4G And MicroSD

Google's no longer Motorola's boss, as Lenovo has now bought the phone-maker. It'll be interesting to see how things change.
Hopefully they won't change too much, however, because of the small number of phones produced during Motorola's short time under Google, the Moto X and Moto G were absolute diamonds.

Google's influence was pretty clear with the Moto G too, following the company's own success with the affordable, well optimised and competetively specced Nexus 4, it's perhaps not surprising that it may have encouraged Motorola to attempt the same trick further down the pricing tree.
